Swimming pool and garden

A rather special high quality chambres d'hôtes.

Resident English owners: Alison and Norman Howell.

La Bastide du Ginesté is a restored 18th Century Bastide, set in the heart of the Cotes de Provence wine region amongst pine, olive and plane trees. It offers five luxuriously appointed individual character en-suite bedrooms with hospitality trays, where you can stay for any length of time throughout the year. The house is centrally heated in winter and there are log fires in public rooms. A four-poster suite is available for those extra special occasions.

We are not more than 1½ hours from all areas of Provence, making La Bastide du Ginesté the ideal location to stay whatever the purpose of your visit.  We have guides and maps of the area, are English speaking with fluent French, and will do all we can to make your stay a memorable one. All of our guests fall in love with the house and the area, and we are delighted to receive returning guests, and new ones, at any time of the year.

Buffet breakfasts (See below for details) are enjoyed in the spacious dining room, or may be taken onto the sunny terrace.   La Bastide du Ginesté offers a large swimming pool, mountain bike hire, boules and table tennis. Trout fishing and golf courses are nearby.

We offer peaceful accommodation where attention to detail and your comfort is the only concern.  Wine, champagne or flowers for your room can be ordered in advance, and every effort will be made to ensure you have the holiday that you deserve.

The Dining Room, full of Provençal charm.

Bedrooms are decorated and furnished to the theme of provençal flowers, except the Fleur de Lys room which has a king size four poster bed.   For the comfort of all our guests, we operate a no smoking policy throughout the house.
