There are magnificent tree covered mountains, medieval hilltop villages, spectacular gorges, and several hundred kilometres of Mediterranean coastline. It has a superb climate with around 300 days of sunshine each year.

In winter, there is alpine skiing within 1½ hours, and of course the spring and autumn is a great time to visit the south of France. Our house is cool in summer, but cosily warm in winter.
